About
Bourne Motor Racing Club

Bourne Motor Racing Club provides a program of talks and visits covering all aspects of motorsport, with many well known people associated with the sport coming to speak to the club members and guests at our monthly club nights. We have been organising club nights and visits since 1996 and the club has become the focal point for motorsport enthusiasts, both local and from further afield.

We meet on the second Thursday of each month with the talks starting at 8pm. For many years, the club met at The Red Hall in Bourne, but in 2010, it was decided that with membership levels at an all-time high, the club had outgrown the venue, and moved to The Bourne Corn Exchange.

However, just a year later, in 2011, a redevelopment project meant that the venue was no longer available for our club nights, so our meetings were moved temporarily to The Coach House at the Angel Hotel, before returning to The Bourne Corn Exchange in 2013.

More information can be found on the ‘Where do we Meet’ page. The meetings are very informal and we endeavour to put on a varied program of speakers throughout the year, with visits where possible during the summer months. For a full list of our past speakers, click here.

‘Track Notes’ our club newsletter, is sent via email (or by post at an additional charge) to all members once a month, and is a great way for members to keep up to date with club activities and developments.

If you feel that a particular speaker or topic may interest you, but don’t want to commit to membership of the club, you are more than welcome to come along to one of our club nights. Admission for guests is £5.00, and you can find out about the latest speakers by taking a look at our Club Calendar.

In 2006, it was decided that something had to be done to celebrate the club’s 10th anniversary. Therefore, it was decided that the club would organise a classic car show, and the Bourne Motor Racing Club steering committee have been proud to be the organisers of the annual Bourne Classic Car & Bike Show for 10 years.

For more details about the club, please feel free to look around our website, or contact one of the committee members, whose details can be found on the Contact Us page.

We look forward to welcoming you to the club.
