This month we explore the field of artificial intelligence with entrepreneur William Sachiti who formed The Academy of Robotics.

The company is based within the former RAF base at Neatishead in Norfolk and is in the forefront of developing autonomous vehicles and helper robots.

Kar-Go is van using sensors and artificial intelligence to learn its surroundings, enabling it to drive through urban roads to reach almost any given address. The company is striving for this vehicle to achieve  savings of up to 90% in the last leg of deliveries, where vans are still the most common of transportation.

In addition “Milton” is a working helper robot, designed to deliver medications within NHS Hospital sites.

William is one of the foremost experts working in this new and exciting field and it promises to be a fascinating talk.
